Jim. I am completely innocent of all your accusations of deliberate manipulation and distortion of time and place. We are in Martinique and the obvious explanation, that I am too lazy to get a post together and the wifi is often rubbish, is the true one. Sometimes you watch the BBC interviews and there is a delay when a question is asked of a far off correspondent. Here though we have internet media which should be faster. But if I look at the map you have been off Martinique for the last few days and yet the tales of Dominica are just arriving. I imagine by the time you read this you will be in St.Lucia – Hugh might already be murdered if he even ever reached the Leeward Isles and is this all part of your clever ploy to be on a different Island with a ready made alibi through your internet blogging? I also notice the absence of pictures in your latest posts…………….

You have, I presume, been watching Death in Paradise? I’m not sure whether they’ve done one on the unexplained death of the captain of a yacht at anchor in a beautiful bay in the Carribean, distraught wife, possible drug runners etc etc? xxx
